Jesus is still baptizing with His Spirit!

Praise the Lord!  We are happy to announce the recent Holy Ghost baptism of Bro. Nathan Wheeler.

Bro. Nathan was away at church camp with our brothers and sisters in Christ up in Plaster Rock. If you don't know where Plaster Rock is, then you probably have never been to Canada. That's right, Bro. Nathan was all the way up in Canada having the time of his life with a great group of Jesus Name Holy Ghost filled young people. You can see what we mean by visiting their web site.

R.I.O.T (Revival In Our Times) happens annually at the beginning of each school year. This is a week-long event devoted to readjusting the focus of this generation, with a balance of fun, activities, Bible-classes, lively singing and church services. Bro. Nathan found out first hand what a true riot R.I.O.T. can be.

We started getting phone calls around 9 PM (CST) from those in attendance that Bro. Nathan was seeking really hard and was really close to receiving God's precious gift. The bible promises us that those who are desperate for the Lord will be filled by the Lord:

Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

God filled Bro. Nathan with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, just like the Apostles experienced in the Book of Acts.

Those that come to Jesus will find a satisfaction that their soul has desired from it's birth. It's a contentment that only Jesus can give.

Phi 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

John 4:10-14
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

God is so good to us! What wonderful benefits we receive by His mercy and grace upon us. Praise the Lord! His mercy endureth forever and ever!

Psa 136:1-9,23-26
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks unto the God of gods:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks to the Lord of lords:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him who alone doeth great wonders:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that by wisdom made the heavens:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that stretched out the earth above the waters:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
To him that made great lights:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
The sun to rule by day:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
The moon and stars to rule by night:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who remembered us in our low estate:
for his mercy endureth for ever:
And hath redeemed us from our enemies:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
Who giveth food to all flesh:
for his mercy endureth for ever.
O give thanks unto the God of heaven:
for his mercy endureth for ever.

Two Young People

So far, the Lord has filled two or our youths with the Holy Ghost this year! Earlier this year Michael Paul Baldwin received the gift of the Holy Ghost!

Continue to pray for all of our youths.
