God will make this trial a blessing!

Years ago there was a cowboy who applied for an insurance policy. After talking for awhile the agent asked, "Have you ever had any accidents?"

After a moment's reflection, the cowboy responded, "Nope, but a bronc did kick in two of my ribs last summer, and a couple of years ago a rattlesnake bit me on the ankle."

"You don't call those accidents?" replied the puzzled agent.

"Naw," the cowboy said, "they did it on purpose!"

This story reminds me of a great truth: There are no accidents in the lives of God's children. Whenever bad things happen; some may say it is bad luck or fate, but we call it God's purpose! The story of Joseph in the Bible is a good example of this. He had experienced many bad things. Such as being thrown into a pit and then sold as a slave. This was a great test of his faith, and from the human standpoint it appeared to be unfair and unjust, and not a blessing at all. So how did Joseph look at it?

Joseph interpreted a difficult experience that had seemed like a great calamity as a blessing in disguise. In Genesis 50:20, Joseph said: "But as for you , ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

Are you in the midst of a great trial and disappointment? Does everything seem to be going against you? These apparent misfortunes are not accidents. The devil may have evil intentions but the Lord will make it a blessing... ON PURPOSE! So, be patient and trust Him. If you love the Lord, someday you will understand and will give thanks and praise Him for it all!

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Rom 8:28)

God will make this trial a blessing!!!
